Tresahor lodge is wonderful, a very peaceful setting for some quality family time. Phil is a lovely host, he introduced himself and pretty much left us to our holiday but was available if we needed him, his property is adjoining Tresahor through a private gate. Phil's dog Jenny greeted us on arrival, however our dog is reactive, I did ask Phil if he could possibly keep her away and this was no issue, Phil was completely understanding. There are beaches within twenty minutes drive and larger supermarkets for anything you may need. If you are taking your dog it may be worth you taking some throws for the furniture, whilst it was easy enough to keep our dog out of the bedrooms, it wasn't so easy with the sofas and we had to purchase some whilst we were away as you are requested to keep pets off which is understandable but not always possible. The laundry room is a great addition, as is the BBQ hut and Pedalo boats, life jackets for these are stored in the laundry room. All in all a lovely little vacation and we had beautiful weather too!...

Tresahor Lodge is one of the most special places we have ever stayed at. From the moment we walked through the wooden gate to reveal the exclusive and magical location, we were wowed and knew it would be hard to leave. The property matches all the photos and yet, the photos fail to capture just how incredible a place it is. We live on a main road so waking up to nothing but bird song was bliss! We found the area very secure so were able to let our mini dachshund run around without a worry, and it's safe to say he thoroughly loved his holiday! The cabin was so cozy and has everything you needed, and the BBQ Lodge felt like we were cooking in The Shire with Bilbo Baggins! I have to say you wouldn't find a better host than Phil - when the wifi wouldn't connect the first night, he didn't stop until it did. He checked in regularly and was very patient with our reactive pup and was happy for his dog not to meet ours. Some people are pushy with this, Phil isn't, so if you've a nervous doggo coming with you, Phil will respect what you need. He even located our takeaway delivery driver who got lost so we could enjoy an Indian! 10/10 we can't wait to come back! ...
