Nestled in the most unique setting - in an old quarry, no less! - Tresahor Lodge is the perfect getaway.
Here you can see the BBQ hut to the right, the lodge to the left of that and then the lake on the far left, complete with pedalos!
Breakfast on the deck is a must.
The Lodge faces out towards the BBQ hut and lake.
Simply stunning!
Cook up a delicious dinner or toast some marshmallows.
There is plenty of space for everyone on the sofa.
Looking back into the lodge, a light and sociable space.
Breakfast time, making plans for the day.
The well-equipped kitchen has all you could need to rustle up a scrummy supper.
The master bedroom has a double bed (there is also storage under the bed).
Complete with an en suite cloakroom too.
Slide open the doors and listen to the leave rustling in the breeze.
The deck provides the perfect place to sit back and relax with your morning coffee.
There's a dining-area with room for four people too.
There is even a 'beach' complete with traditional striped deckchairs.
The pedalos are a fabulous feature - yours to use as you wish (life jackets must be worn and children must be supervised at all times around the lake please).
Just look at this striking setting! Complete with a fabulous BBQ hut.
The second bedroom has small twin beds (2'3'' suitable for children) and a TV/DVD player.

So tranquil and atmospheric at night time as well as day time.
Here you can see the Lodge, with the laundry-room/outhouse to the right and the BBQ hut and lake in front.
Looking back at the lodge.
Another fabulous aerial shot, showing just how wonderful this special setting is. Here you can see the Lodge and its dedicated area and the friendly but unobtrusive owner's house too (to the right), both areas are very private from each other.
Nestled in the most unique setting - in an old quarry, no less! - Tresahor Lodge is the perfect getaway.

Falmouth is a lovely maritime town with three sandy beaches.
River moorings on the nearby Helford Passage, why not hire a boat and spend some time on the water.
Port Navas is another beautiful spot, whilst there you can pop into the Yacht Club for a visit.
The Lizard peninsula is only a short drive away with spectacular coastal walks and scenery to explore - perhaps visit Kynance Cove?
