We chose St Catherine’s for some special family celebrations and we were not disappointed. Beautiful house, stunning views, everything you could want catered for.

Lovely comfortable house with stunning views and a wonderful location in the heart of Tenby.

Amazing location, stunning views, good parking. But overall the house a bit tired. E.g. cupboard doors falling of in bathroom, standard lamp not working. Lots of "junk" around the house in draws and cupboards. The small room of the kitchen was piled up high with old stuff such as a microwave, storage boxes, a pile of chairs. There was no where to store food in kitchen. Windows to garden need some maintenance as can get jammed open and difficult for many in the party to close. The communal area below the house that is shared with the other properties is tired, there is a rotten decking area and the garden areas are over grown. They have signs saying lock gates and doors but there are no keys and the lock on the iron gate to the beach has rusted away. Someone needs to give it a good going over. It feels like the owner's have lost interest in the property. There is only one master bedroom with ensuite and sea views, so be prepared to fight over this. The other bedroom with a sea view has only a single bed. There are three bedrooms on the top floor (no views) but there is only one bathroom as an ensuite to one of the bedrooms, so would need to go through room to get to it. They could go down two floors to a bathroom on the stairs. We did not use the bedroom with the ensuite so the bathroom could then be shared by the other two bedrooms. For some people the lack of ensuite bathrooms could be an issue so check out the floor plan carefully. None of the above really bothered us that much but for some parties it might not work so well....

We have been staying in holiday homes all over the UK for over 20 years and this was probably the best we have stayed in. We loved the combination of a spacious, beautiful home with original features, an amazing view out to sea and being right in the centre of Tenby. The nearby stunning beaches and coastal path routes meant we had lots of choices for great walks. The housekeeper was very responsive to any queries. Whilst the house had only two parking spaces, the public parking is only a few minutes away - and to be honest being in the centre of Tenby, with a Tesco’s just up the road, meant we hardly used the cars. All in all a superb holiday experience. ...

The house is outstanding with many interesting architectural features you would expect to find in a property built in 1843. The fact that it is above the beautiful Castle beach with direct private access makes it very special indeed. We were a party of fourteen celebrating my wife's eightieth birthday so having so many comfortable bedrooms made it ideal. ...
