Nearest pub

Centrally located close to the harbour, this pub opens everyday serving food and drinks. Dogs are welcome in a section of the bar area and outside where there is a pub garden with outdoor seating.

Nearest beach

A lovely sandy beach between Tenby, the castle and St Catherine's Island. At low tide it's possible to walk to St Catherines Island where you can reach a historic fort up a steep flight of steps. From here you'll have fabulous views of the beach and town. Park in the pay and display car park at South Cliff Street and follow the path from there to South Beach, Castle Beach is a stroll away. This beach has lifeguards in summer months and dog restrictions apply.

Nearest walk

This pretty straighforward walk takes you from the centre of Tenby along the coastal path. Head towards Paragon beach and Castle beach past St Catherine's Island and follow the path to Tenby Castle. From here the undulating path takes in some lovely views along the coastto Monkstone beach and Lodge Valley. Saundersfoot is about five miles away from Tenby and if you wish to return by train the station is a little way out of town. There are also local buses if you wish.

Pretty as a picture, the harbour town of Tenby is surrounded by 13th century town walls and has oodles of charm. With Tenby Castle ruins overlooking the harbour, a great choice of three beautiful beaches and plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes along cobbled streets, there's something for everyone here.
