Set above one of Tenby’s five glorious Blue Flag beaches sits the magnificent Georgian St Catherine’s House, an elegant beach side period property with a Visit Wales 5 star Self Catering rating, which effortlessly combines sumptuous luxury with the sheer joy of coastal living.

The mesmerising beach views, with the never ending sea beyond, will capture your imagination for endless hours, stretching to Catherine’s Island and the Gower coast beyond. The golden sandy beach is accessed via steps from the rear of the property. Enjoy a sundowner on the lower terrace, directly above the beautiful beach below.

Just a stone’s throw from the pretty, walled town of Tenby, with narrow streets and cobbled alleyways lined with bespoke shops, craft shops, coffee houses, pubs and restaurants serving delicious local foods, St Catherine’s sits in a private gated area, offering parking for two cars. Enjoy relaxing in this architectural gem, in its majestic location, taking you back to a bygone era, whilst making the best memories of an unforgettable seaside holiday.

Think space, style and sheer elegance as you enter St Catherine’s House. The imposing accommodation, which retains many of the original period details – ornate ceilings, a majestic sweeping staircase, original fireplaces and grand shuttered rising sash windows – sleeps fifteen adults and a child, and is set over five floors, the eight bedrooms and five bathrooms ensure plenty of room for everyone.

The spacious, welcoming kitchen sits in the heart of this splendid home on the ground floor, enjoying spectacular far reaching sea views and access to the upper sunny terrace, which is the perfect spot for sunny holiday breakfasts with a glorious vista or for al fresco dining under the starry skies whilst listening to the gentle sound of the murmuring sea.

Commanding magnificent sea views the delightful sitting-room with its lovely balcony is located on the first floor, with the quiet library beyond. Relax in the comfortable sofas in the cosy snug situated on the ground floor. Children and teenagers will love the games-room on the lower ground floor, formerly the original kitchen, with Jaques table football, table-tennis, Bluetooth sound system, fridge and plenty of chillout space.

Spoilt for choice for things to do in the area, St Catherine’s House is the ideal holiday destination for all the family. Stroll into the seaside town, with an abundance of tempting restaurants, bespoke shops and ice cream parlours.

Enjoy beach days on Tenby’s five Blue Flag beaches or take a boat trip from the harbour, two minutes from the front door, to Caldey Island -- a tranquil retreat with beautiful beaches and home to Cistercian monks, for over a thousand years, who produce perfume, chocolate and shortbread which may be bought in the island shop.

Take walks on the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which winds its way along craggy coves and long stretches of golden sand for 186 miles. Try a round of golf at Tenby Golf Course, set in wild dunes and rolling green terrain. Children will enjoy Folly Farm, Heatherton, Manor Park and Oakwood for a fun filled day out.

Whatever the season, St Catherine's House is a delight; ideal for family and get-togethers with friends, particularly for special occasions or simply the luxury of blissful time together.
