This is a pefect apartment in a lovely little town. Charles and Jacqui are so friendly and helpful and we loved the beautiful sun-trap garden. Luckily, we had some sunny weather so we could enjoy it, but there is a sweet summerhouse if the weather is not so kind. Shaldon has lots of lovely walks around the coast and estuary and a good choice of places to eat. The accommodation is spotless and has all the equipment anyone could wish for. A beautiful little cottage for 2 people. Situated in the heart of the village and within a few minutes walk to the beach . This is our 3rd visit and Jacquie and Charles always makes us feel very welcome. Nice galley kitchen. Spacious lounge over looking the high street . Just beware of the stone steps up from the garden. Parking for a small car is a bonus in Shaldon. Look out for Clarence the tortoise in the very pretty garden. 5 Stars ....

Our stay at Homesdale exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Use of the owners garden was an added bonus. Shaldon was ideal, local shops, eateries and pubs within walking distance so our car wasn’t needed apart from one trip to a local National Trust site.
