A beautiful little cottage for 2 people. Situated in the heart of the village and within a few minutes walk to the beach . This is our 3rd visit and Jacquie and Charles always makes us feel very welcome. Nice galley kitchen. Spacious lounge over looking the high street . Just beware of the stone steps up from the garden. Parking for a small car is a bonus in Shaldon. Look out for Clarence the tortoise in the very pretty garden. 5 Stars ....

Our stay at Homesdale exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Use of the owners garden was an added bonus. Shaldon was ideal, local shops, eateries and pubs within walking distance so our car wasn’t needed apart from one trip to a local National Trust site. Homesdale cottage is ideal for a couple. The cottage is centrally located and the hosts are very friendly. The garden is a big plus. A parking space is also a plus in Shaldon. We were happy to leave the car parked up all week and use local transport. The narrow access is not ideal if you want to use your car regularly when at the property....
