This holiday was special due to the wonderful accommodation, use of the beautiful garden and the hospitality of the owners, Charles & Jacquie, you could not meet a nicer couple. Homesdale is spotlessly clean & extremely well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers in the lounge & bedroom adding a special touch. The on site parking was a big bonus in Shaldon too....

Perfect location in this idyllic Devon village. An excellent selection of small independent shops, cafes and pubs mean you don’t need to travel far. Try the Shaldon Bakery for fresh bread and croissants for breakfast; try the London Inn or the Clipper Cafe for food. The accommodation was excellent but Shaldon didn't live up to expectations no good restaurants or interesting shops also teighmouth has gone the way of many seaside resorts closed up shops and charity shops.
