Our third fabulous holiday at Homesdale. Charles & Jacqui, the owners, were as lovely as ever. They are so friendly, kind & thoughtful which has made our holidays even more special. The accommodation is immaculate & spotlessly clean. The garden is a wonderful place to relax & the parking is a real bonus. Shaldon is still our favourite place to be & we are looking forward to our next holiday at Homesdale already. ...

Mrs Burt August 2025
Shaldon is a lovely village with lots of places to have a coffee or lunch. The London Inn and the Clipper were good places to eat at night. The village boasts a baker, a butcher/ greengrocer, village store and a very helpful post office and souvenir shop among other shops. We didn’t use the car at all during the week, walking in and around the village and using the ferry to Teignmouth across the estuary. The property was well equipped and very relaxing. Visitors have full use of the garden with lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun and the antics of Clarence the tortoise. The owners, Jacqui and Charles were very welcoming and helpful, friendly but not at all intrusive and contributed greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday....
