This is a lovely property. Spotlessly clean and well equipped and tastefully furnished. Views of the harbour are amazing.

Within the first 30mins of being in the house, my teenage daughters asked whether we could come back next year! Everything was within a 5min walk and we found everyone very friendly and welcoming. There is a lot to do within a short travelling distance and many places in which to eat - special shoutout to "The Cow Shed". ...

A lovely house with beautiful views. Had everything you would need. Would definitely stay there again.

It would be hard not to love everything about this cottage! Before arrival we had a friendly call from the owners with details for arrival, keys etc. We appreciated the tip-off to ignore sat nav for last part of the journey. Grateful for the garage as parking in Brixham would have been tricky without it. Take note of the garage length, given in the cottage details …. If it helps our VW Passatt estate, with tow bar, fitted exactly. The cottage was immaculate, very comfortable and beautifully decorated (some lovely art work). It sleeps 4 but there was comfortable seating for 6 in the lounge. It’s worth trying out all seats as each one gives a slightly different view of the harbour including all the cottages on the other side, boats in the harbour and even the replica Golden Hind. The views from the lounge and main bedroom are panoramic .. every time we looked out we spotted something different to look at… wait till it’s dark and it all changes again! Bedrooms were very comfortable and we slept so well with no traffic anywhere near the cottage! Bathrooms were lovely and powerful showers. Draw full of games, a Brixham 500 piece jigsaw, DVDs, CDs and shelf full of books. We discovered the Backgammon and “How to Play book” so learned a new game. We appreciated the welcome wine and milk and also the tea/coffee starter pack. Amused by all the lighthearted notes everywhere with instructions for heating, rubbish, shower etc. also detailed welcome/instruction folder. As for Brixham, we loved it. The owner had provided laminated cards with details of short walks around Brixham (some just 1 mile walks) which we would love to have tried if we’d been their longer. Do take a tour of the Golden Hind replica and Greenway, National Trust property which was one of Agatha Christie’s home (not far out of Brixham). We also had a good night out at the theatre in Torquay. Tesco express and Coop were all within walking distance. Comfortable, practical and wonderful location. (We tried hard to think of something negative we could say and the closest we came was the egg cups were too big for our Aldi eggs!! But even then we turned the egg cup upside down and used the base instead!!!!) Thank you Judy and Richard. That was a perfect holiday. ...

Great accommodation in Brixham perfectly located above the town with a great view over the harbour. The owners Judy and Richard get in contact with you and are available for help and information at any time ahead and during your stay. The accommodation is perfectly prepared for a great Holiday in the area, featuring hiking maps and recommendations for out and about as well as binoculars for the beautiful nature. A great plus is the private garage, big enough for a standard hatchback. ...
