Property is excellent. We’ve stayed before and find it comfortable throughout. Dog friendly. Parking in main carpark down the road. Search for the All Island Car Park Permit as cost effective option. We managed to park nearby to unload but only suitable for a short time. Lovely sun trap area at the back of property. Spacious throughout and comfortable bedrooms. Stairs steeper than average. Really well equipped and clean throughout. Downstairs toilet and utility area. Few minutes walk into Yarmouth....

This was our second stay at Modwena, we love the house it’s got lots of space and is a great location. We love yarmouth there’s lots of nice walks and plenty to do or you can just sit and watch the world go by. Highly recommend this property and we will be back next year....

This cottage is a wonderful gem and a beautiful location in Yarmouth West Wight. The cottage is comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out. The stairs are very steep and this may be a concern with mobility for some people. We found car parking easily at River Road but it would be nice to have an allocated spot. That said we knew this at booking and for us it was not a concern. Plenty of places in Yarmouth to eat and drink. A truly amazing location. I tried to book for next year and it’s already booked out ! So disappointed as we would definitely stay again. ...

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at Modwena a very spacious and comfortable house. Located in the heart of Yarmouth with easy walking distances for everything you wanted. Would definitely go again.

Overall, our stay at the house was excellent. The location is ideal, 2mins from the ferry port and town centre. The town centre, although small, does provide all your needs - 3 pubs, 2 shops, several cafes (PO41), a couple of excellent restaurants (On the Rocks and the Terrace). The accommodation provided all your needs with a nice welcome pack. Although there is only 1 bathroom, there is a downstairs toilet. Note that the stairs are steep, so just need to be careful :-) ...
