The Boatshed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Boatshed. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, comfortable and incredibly relaxing. The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. The location is excellent – peaceful and private, yet within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s best attractions. We loved exploring St Michael’s Mount, Porthleven, Marazion and the surrounding coastline, all of which were just a short drive away. There are also some great local pubs and places to eat nearby. What we appreciated most was being able to return to such a comfortable base after a day out. The Boatshed has a lovely atmosphere and is perfectly positioned for enjoying the beauty of West Cornwall without being caught up in the busiest tourist areas. We would happily recommend The Boatshed to friends and family and would love to return in the future ????? A wonderful place to stay and an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall....

This is a charming, comfortable, beautifully designed space with expansive sky views from upstairs. The hosts are caring & respectful. In February the walk to the beach was too muddy to navigate, but if you hop in the car you are only a few minutes from many astonishing beaches & coastal walks. Highly recommended!...

A lovely location and great hosts. A small but cosy home great for two people.

Lovely cottage, with a really comfortable bed. Would consider staying at the Boatshed again. Handy for lots of places.

The Boatshed far exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about it, the stylish furnishings to the very well thought out space. Perfect for two, or indeed one. Everything is top quality and very comfortable. The area is stunning, particularly Kennegy Cove, a hidden paradise. Swimming here everyday was heaven. Ten minutes through a charming farmyard and footpaths, across a beautiful cow field to the coastal path. Then an easy walk of 30 minutes to the cove, climb some low level rocks and then you are standing on golden sand surrounded by rugged cliffs, crystal clear blue sea and very few people. Tanea and Ben, the owners are lovely people who will help you with anything. They also respect your privacy, which was appreciated. The Boatshed is one of those places you will never forget, we miss it already! It is perfectly situated, you only ever have to travel a few miles to all the local beaches and beauty spots. We loved the local pub, The Packet Inn, superb food and value for money. The fish and chip shop opposite is also very good. Definitely book a wildlife boat trip with Mermaid, we saw three pods of dolphins, gannets and seals. A wonderful experience! One evening, pop to Porthleven for a wander around the beautiful harbour and sit with a drink to watch the sun go down. A fantastic holiday in a precious little property, can't wait to go back....
