Is a great spot to stay in the far west of Cornwall. Property is very well designed and fitted out.

As many other guests have commented, The Boatshed is a cleverly designed use of a small space with a beautifully bright living room upstairs; in fact it needs sunglasses on a sunny day! There are thoughtful touches such as binoculars, map etc to add to the enjoyment of the area. The cottage is very conveniently placed to reach plenty of other local fishing villages etc and we really enjoyed the walks from Porthleven and along the coastal path from Perranuthnoe to St Michael’s Mount. The Victoria Inn, the Pepperpot cafe and Cabin, are all in Perranuthnoe and definitely recommended. In Porthleven you are spoilt for choice for eating and drinking choices. The circular walk from Porthleven through the Penrose estate, or even on to Helston has great views and a variety of scenery with the National Trust Stables cafe or walled garden a good place to stop. On a miserable day the Museum of Global Communications at Porthcurno (PK Porthcurno) is more interesting than it sounds with the added bonus of stunning Porthcurno beach and the Minack Theatre....

We loved staying at the Boatshed. It’s such a clever space - really well designed and extremely comfortable. The location is fab, the accommodation is very clean and the decor is very calming - we didn’t want to leave! We would definitely rebook!

Great cottage - well appointed for a holiday stay. There was a good pub only 200m away if you wanted to eat out and not drive. The sea was around a 10 mins walk, with swimming options a few minutes further either at Praa sands or at Bessie’s cove. (The Rosudgeon beach looked good but needed some scrambling to reach.) Loved the cottage and would highly recommend it....
