Crantock is a laid back village, and is a fifteen minute drive from Homeleigh.

Lovely stay. We didn’t get to meet the owners unfortunately but they were very communicative about the cottage and let us know about some grass cutting. The cottage is in a quiet location down a lane (getting in and off the drive was a bit tight but we had an SUV and a hatchback so that was our fault!) So close to those all important tourist locations you want to see like the beaches, cliff top walks and naturally….The Rattler Cider Farm. The nearest big shop is probably in Redruth Tesco which is about 20 mins drive but no big deal. We found it to be peaceful, comfortable and it was lovely to sit outside at the table and chairs after a long walk. We even spotted 4 green woodpeckers in the garden at one point so that was a bonus. The welcome Scones were appreciated too! Would definitely stay again…just hope the weather will be better next time....

We had a wonderful time staying at Homeleigh for two weeks. It’s clean, comfortable, very well-equipped and in a great location for getting to any part of Cornwall. The owners are lovely and gave us some excellent tips on things to do in the area. Be aware of limited mobile reception, although wifi is excellent. ...

We had a lovely week at Holmleigh, Bev & Chris were there to welcome us and were very friendly and courteous. Gorgeous cream tea (with homemade scones) awaited us - delicious! Cottage was spacious and clean and you can tell is very loved and looked after by the owners. Great spot for visiting the fab beaches especially Holywell beach (our favourite) as well as Crantock (great for body boarding) and St Agnes. Our only concern was getting on and off the driveway onto the narrow lane and we had a small car, probably a lot trickier for larger cars - having said that it did not deter our stay at this charming cottage....

A peaceful location. We had a great week with excellent weather - blue skies throughout! Homeleigh is extremely well-equipped, with a superb kitchen, and the whole house was spotlessly clean. The owners phoned to give us advice soon after we arrived, and texted at the end to thank us for booking. The cream tea was much appreciated! The beds and pillows were very cofortable....

We loved staying in this cottage. Very quiet and peaceful yet close to fantastic beaches and coastal towns and villages. The kitchen was very well equipped. The owners were helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend staying here.
