Lovely stay. We didn’t get to meet the owners unfortunately but they were very communicative about the cottage and let us know about some grass cutting. The cottage is in a quiet location down a lane (getting in and off the drive was a bit tight but we had an SUV and a hatchback so that was our fault!) So close to those all important tourist locations you want to see like the beaches, cliff top walks and naturally….The Rattler Cider Farm. The nearest big shop is probably in Redruth Tesco which is about 20 mins drive but no big deal. We found it to be peaceful, comfortable and it was lovely to sit outside at the table and chairs after a long walk. We even spotted 4 green woodpeckers in the garden at one point so that was a bonus. The welcome Scones were appreciated too! Would definitely stay again…just hope the weather will be better next time....

We had a wonderful time staying at Homeleigh for two weeks. It’s clean, comfortable, very well-equipped and in a great location for getting to any part of Cornwall. The owners are lovely and gave us some excellent tips on things to do in the area. Be aware of limited mobile reception, although wifi is excellent. ...

We loved staying in this cottage. Very quiet and peaceful yet close to fantastic beaches and coastal towns and villages. The kitchen was very well equipped. The owners were helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend staying here.

We would highly recommend a stay at Homeleigh. The house is one of the best we have stayed in, peaceful, spotless and well equipped. Chris & Bev gave precise travel details beforehand and met us to give details of the house and area which was very helpful. They are a lovely couple. The house has been in Bev’s family for years and they maintain it to a very high standard. The patio is a sun trap so we were able to sit there for meals and drinks. We tended to walk to the top of the road in about 10 minutes & then travelled by bus to St Agnes, Perranporth and Newquay and visited near by National Trust properties by car. The house is in a good position to visit all near by areas. The cream tea was very welcome after a long journey. We would like to thank Chris and Bev for such a lovely warm welcome to their holiday home. ...

We have just spent a lovely week at Homeleigh. The cottage has been recently renovated and is in beautiful condition. It was very clean and we had a very helpful call prior to our arrival and quick meet with the owners to make sure we were properly settled in. The location is within walking distance of the beautiful coastline and the driving is easy if you want to get further afield by car. Only complaint, being woken up by the very inconsiderate tawny owls that thought the cottage was theirs to shout around at night! Wonderful place....
