Absolutely loved our stay at Mount Wise Farmhouse. It is extremely warm and cosy and its location meant we could explore town, country and beaches during our stay. Highly recommend.

We found that the farm house was lovely, clean and tidy and everything we needed , the owner welcomed us on arrival and when we left, she called to say have a safe journey home. She could not have been more helpful. The farmhouse was very clean and the linen was exceptional nice and clean / fresh along with all the other utensils and facilities there, All this made our stay very enjoyable and will definatly will book again. We had a lovely time at Mount Wise! Jane was an amazing host and we can see that she has put her heart into the cottage. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed spending time in the cottage. It was not cheap but well worth it. there is a lack of walks directly from the cottage but it was very convenient to visit lots of great places by car....

It's a lovely walk and very popular (especially if you go right around to the other side and visit the Golden Lion pub as a halfway stop!). There are also a couple of bridleways and some footpaths leading off the same road that the farmhouse is situated on, so the owner is going to put together a folder of local walks for guests to help them explore the area. Our host, Jane, was lovely. She sent us a text before we arrived and was on hand to answer questions. We loved all the personal touches - homemade bread, wine, chocolates, soap - as well as how helpful she was to us when we were staying.
