Exceptional stay with a great deal of effort by Jane to prepare the cottage for our arrival. We were made to feel welcomed and looked after throughout and we had a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Wow what a lovely warm wonderful home from home! Where to begin. Jane the owner went above and beyond providing us with an amazing welcome pack fresh bread, Prosecco milk fudge etc. she was also very generous with her time and knowledge and it was a joy to meet her. The best equipped kitchen and property we’ve ever stayed in. Sharp knives ( hurray) there were 3 fridges and a freezer and a huge amount of crockery and ( matching) glasses, which came in very handy when we had other family members staying for the weekend. we had a constant supply of logs and the Rayburn kept the cottage so snug. Nice large utility/boot room came in very handy in the winter. The bedrooms were sumptuous. lovely bedding and towels and that bath!! The cottage has 5 fields to roam around with the dog and the farmhouse is on the jubilee walking trail and you can walk around the reservoir , there’s a small start-up farm shop next door open fri-sun at the mo and a lovely pub down the road looking over the reservoir. It’s positioned well for Falmouth, the Lizard, St Ives etc and loads of gardens nearby We asked Jane if she could do something about the weather and she provided us with a blanket of snow magical. A delightful old cottage full of charm and character. We particularly enjoyed the Rayburn even during a relatively mild October. The cottage is well located for trips into the western end of the peninsula such as the Lizard, Porthcurno and the tin mining area around St Just. Jane is a kind and thoughtful hostess who tolerated some of our doggy idiosyncrasies!...

A fantastic mix of old and new. The Rayburn gave the place a constant cosy feel, our dog loved stretching out on the rug in front of it at the end of the day. A fully equipped modern kitchen was available when we felt like cooking. We received a warm welcome from the owner who was friendly but not intrusive. Whilst located off the beaten track, the cottage still gives easy access to many good beaches and several National Trust properties. We would love to return here again....

We thought the farmhouse was one of the most comfortable and well equipped properties we have stayed in. Walking in to scented candles and flowers in every room was very welcoming and Jane was the perfect host. We would definitely return.
