A really comfortable apartment, in a good location, close to the Solent (watch the Cruise Ships sailing by). Close to a good Bus Service (No. 8 - Turn right outside front door, left at end of street, right at Church). The Community Shop is very good - Supermarkets at Lake. The Seaview Hotel, about 75 yards, very good for food & drink....

A gorgeous, deceptively spacious holiday home in the heart of gorgeous Seaview!! We had the most wonderful week at Beggar's Roost, being able to watch the movements of the high street and the high tide from the comfort of the bay window. The location allowed us to visit Apply Beach and Priory beach, both within just ten minute walks, to be drinking coffee, from Lily's and devouring ice cream from the Deli within less than a minute, and to then take twenty steps across to local Community Shop which stocked wonderful holiday treats!! Of an evening, there were beach walks, wine in the Art Gallery across the road, and lovely food at the Seaview Hotel and the Old Fort. Beggar's Roost also afforded us some lovely home cooked meals and games evenings. A really lovely place to be for the week!!! ...

We booked a short break only a week in advance so we were pleased to find somewhere that would accept us for 4 nights. Beggars Roost is huge! There are 3 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms is very handy to have. There's a side sea view from the living room, where you can just see ships coming and going. The flat is well equipped and our only criticism would be that although the kitchen and bathrooms were clean, the carpets and sofas could use a deeper clean as they are looking a bit tired. Still comfortable though....
