Superb location in Mt Edgcumbe Country Park. The viewing platform in the back yard overlooking the river is a brilliant way of using the limited amount of outside space. You do have to be quite agile to use it as the steps are quite steep. It's a perfect spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon cup of tea or a lunchtime gin and tonic....

Lovely property with good facilities. Dog leg stairs to bedroom more or less two flights.
Be aware bathroom downstairs if you have to get up in the night. Edgcumbe is wonderful.

This is such a fantastic location with the river to one side of the cottage which gave us lovely views day or night and to sit on the viewing platform watching the boats go by or the sunsets with of course a glass of wine or two!! The expanse of the lovely garden and grounds of the estate is such a frill especially when the gates get locked at night and you have the whole place to yourself it makes you feel it’s your own personal large back garden....

Orangery Lodge is 'different' and unspoiled. Everything needed is there - 'it's what it says on the tin'. Property is in a prime position and there's a lovely VERY private deck where one can sit & watch the estuary activity day or night - fascinating. There's so much to do, one can say goodbye to the car as accessibility to other places by bus or ferry are very reliable and feet can take you anywhere! Lots to explore, walking for miles coast or countryside, or wander gently in the gardens or Estate, everything that anyone could wish for, for a relaxed, peaceful break....
