Fabulous cottage, lovely garden, great location. Ferry port is not a problem at all, lovely little wander down to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucaster. It was very convenient being near the ferry terminal, but as other reviews said it was unobtrusive! The Fishbourne pub is just a short walk up the road & there is a lovely walk to Quarr Abbey opposite the pub. We had a very comfortable time in the cottage and hope to come back again....

Really loved our stay at Lucaster, in a quite and peaceful village setting. Great house with all the facilities and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Beautiful secret village location on the green with a gentle 5min walk down to the beach to explore and watch the ferry's arrive and depart. When the tide goes out you have plenty of beach to explore. Nice pub - The Fishbourne - in the village - 1 mins walk from the house. Overall a lovely relaxing stay with the family....

We have just had a week at Lucaster for Easter. Family of 6. Excellent location for the beach and ferry port. Good pub more or less next door - The Fishbourne - nice food. Walked to Quarr Abbey from the house which took about 15 minutes which was lovely. Worth a visit to the cafe. ...

Our second visit to Lucaster, as we loved it so much a couple of years ago, and it didn't disappoint this time either. Love the new kitchen, everything was perfect for us, including the weather, so couldn't have been better. Already thinking of booking up again for a possible winter break over there. as there's so much more we'd like to do and see.
