Two sets of doors open onto this wide paved terrace and the fully enclosed garden. The post and rail fencing also has rabbit proof wire and so is as secure as is reasonably possible.
The kitchen/dining-room is really spacious, with the front door opening to the farmstead.
The two and a half acre arboretum is the most beautiful and peaceful place to explore, sit with a book or have a picnic lunch.
Stairs lead from the sitting-room to the first floor of the cottage. There is also a door directly out onto the patio.
The kitchen is a delightful sociable space to cook in, with the farmhouse table in the other half of the room.
The sparkling worktop will inspire you to cook, but there is also a footpath through woodland directly to the friendly local pub.

This is the en suite shower-room for the master bedroom. The wonderful shower has a rainfall shower head as well as a conventional one.
The second bedroom has views out over the 2.5 acre arboretum which is filled with unique tree species.
The bathroom next to the twin bedroom has a bath as well as a fitted shower.

The hosts Lucy and Ian were brilliant as always and the cottage has everything you could possibly need on holiday. Well what can I say, but simply fabulous. Beautiful property, with every detail thought of. Every thing you need for your holiday, as my husband said, if you can't find it you've not looked hard enough. Ian and Lucy were the best hosts, involving us with the farm, especially as we were there for haymaking. The arbouretum is a must, so peaceful and tranquil. We walked our dogs there twice a day, my favourite place. The garden was big and secure for both our dogs. All I can add is we will definitely be back and we loved every relaxing minute of our holiday. ...

Crab Apple Cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated. It provided everything you could possibly want and more being an Eco property. It’s location was excellent with easy access to both the coast and inland attractions. The owners Ian and Lucy were lovely and very welcoming, and what a pleasure it was to stroll through their extensive Arboretum and sit on the bench and listen to the bird song.
