Our stay at Shepherd’s Rest opened up a whole new experience of Cornwall; the location is so unique and we felt a million miles away from the rest of the world (but close enough to civilisation if we needed anything!) The site is nestled into a hillside and made us feel cocooned by nature, with all the luxuries of a hot shower and great cooking/sleeping facilities - full of personal touches too. We felt as though we were the first people to ever stay there because it was so well-maintained. Highly recommend Shepherd’s Rest!...

This is the perfect 'hideaway' retreat for two. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Sheppard's Rest proved to be a most delightful holiday destination, with everything needed tastefully planned within the Sheppard's hut. The addition of an an onsite smaller hut to house any 'overspill' items that we bought along was also very useful. The location is peaceful, with lovely vista's and nature abounding all around. We loved absolutely everything about the Shepherd's Rest. The location was perfect, we loved how remote it felt but the short cut over the fields meant you could walk to the village in just 10 minutes. The views were stunning and our dog loved running around the meadow, and we were happy knowing it was safe and secure for him. The hut was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This staycation was perfect for us, I think it will be difficult to beat! We will definitely be booking again!...

Perfect location and gorgeous property. So many walks through such a beautiful part of Cornwall. Very quiet spot with small village shop and pub a five minute walk away. Excellent.

Loved the views from the hut, the tranquility, the BBQ hut, log burner and easy short walk into Lerryn to start the river walk to St Minnow. Nicola, the host, was also fabulous. Taking the time to show us the hut (as we arrived when it was dark) and making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect stay....
