The cottage is well situated and Lerryn is a very attractive and friendly village. We found that some of the properties of the cottage made things awkward: • It was inconvenient to not have a wardrobe in any of the 3 bedrooms. • The cottage information also requests guests not to open the roof windows in the kitchen, but there is then no ventilation in the kitchen without opening the patio doors as there are no opening windows in the kitchen and no kitchen extractor. We were warned about a couple of features to be aware of relating to the floor. These were well-placed warnings as we found that – although we’re both able-bodied – we did trip a couple of times in the kitchen area. It’s also worth noting that the tight access from the road means that you really need 2 people to get the car in and out of the property’s grounds safely. One person needs to check for traffic and apologise to any drivers who have to wait for you to get in and out of the parking area.
