The National Trust's Lanhydrock House, gardens and parkland are quite stunning and within easy access - there is also a great network of cycling trails across the park.

Last minute Easter booking for family of 4 ( kids 9 and 8). Delightful cottage, calming in tranquil surrounds, tastefully decorated and sufficient mod cons to keep all entertained. Garden and surrounding areas great for kids and local shop and pub helpful and good value. No problems with access to or in the property - just a little care when leaving by car but, hey, it’s Cornwall - what do you expect. An excellent property which made our weeks stay very comfortable and enjoyable. This is as good a cottage as the description implies , I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anybody . I think its finest point is being able to sit on the throne downstairs, open the window and chat to dog walkers on the path outside. Truly decadent ! The nearby pub is lovely but the pricing owes more to Dick Turpin than market rates for food and ale . ...

Loved the location of the house people very friendly in the village , the house could do with fans in the rooms with the low ceilings the bedroom esp downstairs was very warm . Great house our boys loved the garden and their bedroom , thank you
