Our Granddaughter Lerryn loved us all being together in this really cosy warm and comfortable cottage. A real home from home. From the moment we walked in on the first day of our holiday it felt like we had come home. Everything was perfect. We will be back…...

Mrs French February 2025

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Very warm - even in February we had no need for the wood burner! Well equipped, plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms, lots of living space downstairs too. Plenty of hot water. Lovely, albeit steep, garden, spacious driveway - although be careful driving in and out of the gate as it’s quite a tight manoeuvre. We ate at The Ship Inn (literally 4 doors down the lane) a couple of times and it was very pleasant, nice pub food and beers. Location wise, Lerryn is tucked away in a pretty river valley not too far away from the coast; we drove to Polruan and took the foot ferry to Fowey where there are some lovely coffee shops and pasty shops. Sweet Briar cottage is a lovely spot in a quiet village and very handy for all the attractions in the south of Cornwall. It is very quiet and we enjoyed seeing our neighbours, the sheep, every day whilst having breakfast. The pub is 50 yards away and serves good food as well as proper beer. The village shop next door also does pasties, sandwiches etc. We particularly enjoyed getting an ice cream from "The Hatch" and sitting by the river just a few yards away....

Lovely, well equipped and nicely finished cottage in a fantastic setting. Lerryn has lots of walks, a shop/bakery and a welcoming local pub and plenty of opportunities for boating, paddle boarding, fishing and the like.
