If you book this cottage you will not be disappointed. Sweet Briar Cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Cornwall. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped. There is a lovely garden for relaxing in and enjoying the summer weather. Lerryn is a lovely little village with a nice welcoming pub for drinks or meals which we used a few times and also the local stores for snacks, coffees, and ice creams. We visited lots of places on our holiday with the highlights being St Mawes, Fowey, Lanhydrock, and Lost Gardens of Heligan, but many more beautiful places too. We hope to return in the future. ...

Mrs French February 2025
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Very warm - even in February we had no need for the wood burner! Well equipped, plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms, lots of living space downstairs too. Plenty of hot water. Lovely, albeit steep, garden, spacious driveway - although be careful driving in and out of the gate as it’s quite a tight manoeuvre. We ate at The Ship Inn (literally 4 doors down the lane) a couple of times and it was very pleasant, nice pub food and beers. Location wise, Lerryn is tucked away in a pretty river valley not too far away from the coast; we drove to Polruan and took the foot ferry to Fowey where there are some lovely coffee shops and pasty shops. We also visited the Eden Project which is a good half day out. Polperro, Looe, Mevagissey and Bodmin are also short drives away. Lanydrock National Trust house nearby although unfortunately it was closed for repair when we visited. Overall - great cottage, beautiful location. ...

Mr Snelgrove June 2025
A lovely, comfortable cottage in a quiet, friendly village with an excellent, small local store/coffee shop and a pub serving copious quantities of good pub food. Access to the village via Lostwithiel (which itself gives access to the main A road to St. Austell) is reasonably good, making places like the Eden Project and Lanhydrock within easy reach....
