I loved staying at the Apple House! It was very comfortable and so close to everything. I managed to go for nearly the whole week without using my car which was really relaxing. The view from the window over the little harbour is hypnotic and I loved watching out for the trains. Walking to the ferry and the train station is a hop skip and a jump away. I took my bike and cycled the Exe Valley Way. The nature reserve at Dawlish Warren is beautiful. I felt as though I had done a lot each day and could then come back to the comfort of the Apple House at the end of each adventure. ...

Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break. Location is perfect for walking , cycling and using the ferry to Exmouth and the train to Exeter. Lovely and warm in the cottage too.
