A lovely view from the cottage. We didn’t use the car ?? once the whole week as it is very close to both bus and train station which was a real bonus. Went out and about every day. Our third time at Apple House and as good as ever. Perfect location and views, warm and comfortable. Easy to leave the car (just outside) and walk down to Starcross station to use the train. Pub almost next door but not intrusive. Well equipped overall. ...

Second stay here and the Apple House is exactly the same as it was three years ago. This is a premium cottage and probably the best location you can ask for. Overlooking Cockwood harbour and the Exe estuary was a daily treat and you are very close to loads of great attractions. Being next to the Anchor Inn was incredible and we ate there four times. We hope we can return in the future for a third stay....
