Take the passenger ferry across the Carrick Roads for a day out in St Mawes.
Take the King Harry ferry over the River Fal for a day on the Roseland Peninsula.
Flushing is a gorgeous place to spend the day.
Kynance Cove and the rest of The Lizard is easy to explore from this fabulous base.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos. The views over the harbour were just stunning and we spent many hours just watching the boats and the light. The house was very well equipped and the beds comfortable. It was an easy walk from Falmouth Station and we got extra fitness from walking up and down the hill in and out of town and up and down the steep stairs inside. We would definately love to stay here again....

This was a great place to stay Clean and very tidy with great views Lots of information on local things to do But I will say you need to have lots of energy for all the steps in Falmouth

Fantastic base for exploring Falmouth and surrounds.Well equipped and beautifully furnished cosy but spacious cottage. Laundry facilities and a washing line was a bonus! Would definitely return one day!
