The fishing village of Mousehole is just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
The ever-popular, bustling town of St Ives is close by too.
The gorgeous beach at Sennen, ideal for bucket and spade days or surfing.

Scenic Bay was a delight. The view from the pod was spectacular... eating breakfast overlooking St Michael's Mount was so good for the soul! The owners, Michelle and Andrew, ensured I had everything I needed, the pod was cosy in the evenings, and, crucially as a single woman, I felt safe there. It was very well located to explore West Cornwall, with some special tourist treats almost on the doorstep....

When reserving on classic cottages, I didn't receive the email to make payment straight away which meant the booking got cancelled but luckily when I called up this was resolved, maybe something could be improved in terms of the booking/making payment. It was a lovely stay, would highly recommend and go back in the future....

The pod is an excellent base for touring West Cornwall and its situation overlooking Mounts Bay is idyllic. Andrew and Michelle are excellent hosts.
