The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

Perfect location, very clean, stylish, spacious, ideally located AND 3 toilets!!! Jo was lovely too. We hope to come back when they have some availability....

It was our second visit to this farm, we stayed in the sister cottage, Bullpen, last year. The cottage was beautifully equipped and comfortable, a lovely place to stay. The enclosed garden and patio are a bonus for sunny days. The Lizard is a good base for Cornwall, with plenty to see and do. Highly recommended!...

The Cow Shed is an excellent barn conversion set in the rural countryside of South Cornwall, located on a peaceful and quiet working farm. It is an ideal place to base our holiday from. It is well equipped for all our needs in all aspects. There are many coastal walks, beaches and places of interest within easy access by car. This was our fourth holiday at this property, and we had very enjoyable stay. The owners Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful. We look forward to staying here again sometime in the near future.
