The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Cadgwith Cove is only a short drive away.
Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

Great property in a fantastic location for exploring the Lizard penninsula. Light, airy, modern and well equipped. Porthleven, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre are all worth a visit too.

The cow shed was such a lovely property with a great location and everything you could need. A very well presented, clean property. We had a huge basket of wood left for the wood burner at no extra charge ( I know most properties charge extra for this ) a lovely couple who were extremely helpful on arrival and even spent time out of their day to show us around the farm. Such a spacious property inside and out. A huge parking area and two lovely areas outside. We will definitely be staying again. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in (and there’s been a lot!) We really and truly had the best week stay in the cow shed. ...

The Cowshed is a large well located property with everything a family could need. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the dairy farm tour is highly recommended.
