Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.
The summer-house is a real sun trap and the perfect spot for a barbecue.
There is a large separate utility-room with a further cloakroom.
The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.
There is an Aga for you to enjoy too!

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

Really lovely and homely cottage with picturesque views and a gorgeous garden. It has a children's climbing frame and slide at the back of the garden, which our 2 year old really enjoyed, and a BBQ, which my husband was thrilled about. The owners are really lovely and happy to help with anything if we needed them and their dog is very friendly....

We used Stable cottage to catch up with family and it suited our needs perfectly. The lounge is so cosy and the kitchen is a fantastic social area. We enjoyed cooking, eating and had plenty of laughs. It didn’t matter that it rained we were more than happy to stay in. The set up is ideal for 2 couples with each bedroom having their own en-suite bathroom. All rooms spotlessly were clean. Beautiful garden which I can only imagine will be gorgeous in the summer. Fab views too. Watching the birds on the feeders was an absolute joy. Look out for the little coal tit that likes to land on the patio door handle!! We throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would have no hesitation in booking for longer. Heidi...
