Carol and Brian, We have just spent a lovely week in this spacious well equipped cottage. The garden is well maintained and has extensive rural views. It is very relaxing to sit in as is the large summer house. We visited Burrow Farm Gardens,Beer, Honiton, Branscombe,The Donkey Sanctary and went on the tram from Colyton to Seaton and then back to Colyton. Thank you Martin and Sarah for making us feel so welcome and for the "treats" on our arrival. We have already booked for next year!

Photos do not do this lovely cottage justice. It is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens, with a lovely view. It is seconds from the A35, so very easy to find, with no traffic noise. The owners and their gorgeous dog, Ginnie, were very welcoming. We have been to more than 30 Classic cottages and this has to be best equipped we have seen. We wanted for nothing. Even the weather was good! We thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing break.

We had a most enjoyable long weekend in Devon staying in this excellent cottage. It is spacious and extremely well equipped, with excellent facilities that we made good use of. The owners were very welcoming and the eggs from the hens in the garden were delicious. Highly recommended.

This is a very comfortable, spacious cottage in a beautiful quiet spot but also near enough to the coast and other places of interest to make our stay extremely enjoyable.

September 2018

This cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. We visited in early October and it was surprisingly warm despite the high ceilings in most rooms. Bathrooms and kitchen were very well fitted out. A lovely big summerhouse in the garden, with hens nearby. The owners live in the adjacent cottage and were very friendly and helpful. It's a good location, easy to get to both Honiton and Lyme Regis. Highly recommended!

A really lovely property which we have been fortunate to stay in during its first year of availability. Everything is of a high standard, and it more than fulfilled our hopes and expectations. We certainly plan to come again.

Very well furnished and equipped, beautiful garden and peaceful location. Light and airy.

May 2018

We were honoured to have been the first ever guests at Stable Cottage. Sarah and Martin were very caring hosts, and their dog, Ginny, a joyously friendly addition. The cottage is located in within a farm environment surrounded by beautiful countryside, and backed by a spacious and well tended garden in which spent happy hours. The facilities within the cottage were excellent and we all particularly enjoyed the very large kitchen/dining room with its sunlit location. My 'young' 95 year old mother was with us and she had no problems with access. Farmshops abound in the area and nearby Honiton has a lively high street with many small shops providing all one might need. We are already recommending Stable Cottage to friends and family for a luxuriously comfortable stay in this very serene and guest friendly environment. Wishing Sarah and Martin (and Ginny) all possible success with their new venture, and offering our grateful thanks for their kindness. John, Kay & Doreen
