We have really enjoyed our week at The New House. The house is very spacious, well equipped and has a lovely big garden for our dog to play in. Godshill is a lovely village and a great location to explore the island. We recommend both The Taveners and The Griffin for eating out....

We loved our stay at The New House. It was wonderfully clean and so well equipped. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. The house is in a perfect location, right in the centre of the amazingly pretty village of Godshill. There are two pubs on the doorstep - The Taveners and The Griffen. Both looked lovely although we didn't visit either due to fussy eaters in our family! The table tennis room and the piano in the sunroom were big hits with our family. Thank you for a lovely stay....

A stunning much loved home in a picture book village surrounded by thatched cottages. So much space for everyone, a beautiful garden, games room and so many books and board games! The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen you’ll find! Perfect for staying in or going out, supermarkets and beaches all a short drive away. Log burner and so many comfy couches and bathrooms. Can’t recommend it enough - definitely be back if we return to the lovely Isle of Wight....

Fabulous cottage in a lovely village location. It's fairly central for getting out and about and there is a bus stop right outside. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. There is plently of room and lots to entertain multi generational family groups. The Taverners pub serves fantastic quality food and The Old Smithy serves a lovely breakfast....

This was a great property for our family group, with plenty of room for everyone. The snug with the piano proved very popular as well as the table tennis room. The kitchen had every conceivable piece of equipment you could wish for. The garden is lovely with several seating areas and a large lawn for the children to play football and cricket. This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed on and would recommend it. Opposite is a popular bakery and the Taverners does a great Sunday roast....
