A lovely stay at Yew Tree cottage which was very tastefully decorated, with a luxurious bathroom. Found the utility room extremely handy especially if you have a dog. Fabulous having Mount Edgecombe estate as your front garden. Worth a visit.

Lovely cottage in beautiful historic grounds with so much to explore - we ventured out even in the rain, when the kids enjoyed splashing through the puddles. We took the passenger and car ferries over to Plymouth on different days and made trips to the monkey sanctuary and nearby Cawsand beach. The cafe is a minute's walk away and has a great little play section for kids. The pub near the ferry port does an excellent carvery on a Sunday. If you like running or walking then there is some steep but beautiful running up the hill and towards Kingsand and Cawsand....

Great location. Lovely cottages (we have stayed in more than one). Nice area with lots to do.

The farriers cafe right behind the building does great food and coffee which is extremely handy! ...

We enjoyed our stay at Yew tree cottage. The location is excellent with little need to use the car if you prefer not to. Parkland, independent shops and cafe and formal gardens and the coast path are on your doorstep whilst maintaining your own space and privacy. A stroll down the hill takes you to a shingle beach to find shells/ swim from, as well as the bus stop to larger beaches and the local villages. The ferry to Plymouth is in walking distance also. The cottage is comfortable and reasonably equipped although you'll need to bring a hair dryer and a light weight duvet if your staying here in summer! ...
