Phill is a star! This house that he built house could not have been more suitable for the 4 of us during the half term week. The children even had their own rooms which they were very happy about. The house has everything you need. The children 11, 12 loved making Pizza in the pizza oven. We had fires every night in the log burner. We played lots of shuffle board which Phill will introduce you to! We took our 6 month old lab who loved all the walks along the foot paths and down on the beach, there is even an outside tap for rinsing him off. The local pubs served delicious food and beverages. We did lots of site seeing and surfing lessons which was great fun. The views form the house are idyllic! I would highly recommend this house if you can find a slot where it is not booked out!

This house has the most amazing sea views. It is a truly special place to have a relaxing holiday and more than lived up to our expectations.

The property probably exceeded our expectations It was beautifully furnished, had a wonderful location and the kitchen was the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in. The owner could not have been more helpful. He met us at the property, took us around and explained everything. He gave us helpful tips on shopping, places to visit and even directed us to where to find the dinosaur footprints on the beach. The garden was a delight and we were even instructed to help ourselves to the apples and vegetables growing in the garden
I would happily revisit this property and recommend to friends

An outstanding property set on its own in an amazing plot! views and sun sets are amazing from the property A wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday and situated near to lovely beaches and amenities.

Fantastic property at a beautiful location.

A beautiful cottage in a wonderfully scenic area, a true country retreat! The cottage had everything we needed from the amply kitted out kitchen to the pizza oven, bbq and fire pit outside! The children and dogs thoroughly enjoyed the garden and we soaked up the beautiful views and sunsets. The owner Phil was very helpful and welcoming too, all in all, a fantastic base for exploring the Isle of Wight!

A wonderful family home in a superb location. Lots to see and do and beautiful sunsets from the back garden every night.

Flackstead is a beautiful property in an amazing location. Phil was there to greet us and show us around and helped us find local restaurants and places to go as well. We made use of all the facilities including the pizza oven..which I loved! We could not fault our holiday and the whole family enjoyed it.....although if you could try to improve the weather in future, that'd be much appreciated! Thanks for a really wonderful stay. Sarah

The cottage was ideal for families, whatever you like doing , be it sightseeing, walking or just relaxing in the comfortable and elegant cottage. Lots of extra touches which make it special, and the views are lovely.

If you are looking for a perfect property for the very active to the not so active Then this is the place to suit all Perfectly designed with every need provided

Loved the open plan, spacious, 'New-England' style design. The grounds were also exceptional with the added bonus of the outdoor table tennis area and the fire-pit. The family really enjoyed the sense of freedom the property gives. A short walk across the field to the beach. The interior was immaculate - including downstairs/ bedrooms/ showers/etc. The attention to detail and the artistry and artwork displayed around the house was a feast for the eyes! The owner had left a food hamper for us on arrival and the whole property was stocked for every need. Quite a stunning property. Lovely food at The Sun Inn, Hulverstone, if required. The kitchen was fantastic - with the folding open door, looking out to the coast. It was a struggle to go out each day because we enjoyed the house and grounds so much - especially the fire pit in the evenings. The owner was kindness itself and charming to meet and talk to. You offer a premier service which thankfully offers real people to talk to at the end of a phone.

Fabulous property in an excellent location. Beautiful finished & furnished. Wonderful views from the house, lovely garden.
