A lovely stay at Pierhouse, again. Location is amazing especially when the weather is kind. Generally quiet at night in spite of central location, and sitting areas and bedrooms are comfortable. We are already booked to return. A couple of points to note: the car access is very narrow and you need to get the car straight, not on an angle, before entering. Unfortunately people park on the double yellow lines opposite the entrance, which makes it impossible to do this. I damaged a wheel on a raised kerb in the archway on one occasion for this reason. Also, the 9.00 am departure time is too early and a struggle to achieve. There's no flexibility as the housekeeper (who was very nice!) is there on the dot....

The Pierhouse is wellsituated in the middleof town and close to the shops, bars and cafes, but it is hidden away in a quiet courtyard. The view from the waterside patio and the lounge is fabulous. Inside the house is well equipped, I'd say maybe a bit too well equipped as it can feel a bit cluttered. The house is clean and hours can be spent watching all the activity out on the water. Take the ferry to Flushing or across to St Mawes visit Trebah Gardens or Glendurgan... ...

It's so close to everything the shops and center of the hustle and bustle, yet when you return through the tunnel you feel you are so far away from everything and all becomes quiet. Unless you know it';s there you wouldn't find it. It's the perfect get away. Private quays so u really can get away from it all, even our boys can't wait to return....

The Pierhouse is all you could want from its comfort inside and fabulous views over the water and beyond. Location perfect for shops, buses, ferries and easy walking to Restaurants and pubs in the town. Would thoroughly recommend.
