Eastcott cottage is a peaceful and comfortable cottage, close to some lovely beaches.

Beautiful cottage that lived up to expectations. We stayed over Christmas so despite cold weather the cottage was warm and cosy and we felt perfectly at home. Perfect family getaway. Had everything we needed and close vicinity to beach and local store. Highly recommend!

We had the best week ever - it was a true home from home; so much so I could have easily stayed another week or more! It is just such a lovely house - two adjoining living rooms - both comfortable and well appointment. One with TV, one with log fire. Two double rooms, one with ensuite and two twins - all declared very comfy. The kitchen and dining room with massive utility was just brilliant. We had two dogs with us and to have rooms with hard floor was just brilliant - we are very diligent about clean dogs but sometimes you just need room for a large towel for them to lie down and dry off. It had everything you needed, loads of storage, big dining table, excellent oven, dishwasher, big fridge AND freezer and a stable door to the front garden - good for keeping the fur balls in but letting fresh air in too. There is a porch and big heated hallway for coats and shoes. There is only one garden and this is to the front of the property - bench, BBQ, grassed and paved areas. The only thing to point out about the garden is it is enclosed but it's not 'secure'. But one of our dogs is an escape artist ;-) My retriever stays fairly close but with a big ditch to explore (other side was fenced) and livestock next door I kept him on a long line. Make the garden secure and we would definitely book again. It has it's own drive and two parking spaces out the front and is situated on a very quiet road - we took the dogs around here for evening leg stretches with no problems. Absolutely loved this place. And having used Classic Cottages several times with their amazing customer service I will keep on recommending. Thank you for having us!

Lovely large property in a big garden. Lots of space for our party of 5. Nicely furnished and very comfortable living spaces perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day. Good location close to the coast.

Lovely spacious cottage in a lovely quiet position. Situated adjacent to a beef herd so some might find that tricky but the grandchildren were fascinated to see them so close. Great lawn area for games. Parking a bit tight. We had a great time.

Lovely secluded property for two families and additional bonus with second sitting room. Very large front garden but alas not secluded for my two dogs who had to be kept on leads throughout their holiday. Bbq supplied.

We're so pleased you loved the secluded location of Eastcott Cottage. We rarely market properties as having completely secure gardens for dogs as it would be very difficult for most gardens to pass this test. We're pleased our Sales Team were able to confirm at the time of booking that the garden was not fully enclosed. Our knowledgeable Sales Team are always on hand to advise of such features in the future to help you choose the best property for your particular needs. Kelsey, Customer Support

It was a pleasure to arrive at Eastcott cottage. When we arrived late at night the cottage was lit, warm and presented beautifully. A welcome package of teas coffee and biscuits were available with a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. The rooms were a great size and beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal for us just a short drive to the stunning beaches, small town and supermarkets to do a bit of local shopping and the pub. Beautiful lawn for the children to explore and play. Everything was provided to enjoy a relaxing family break. For us everything was perfect, but unfortunately we had to leave early due to family illness back home as we left in a hurry some items were left behind. The housekeeper contacted us and offered to send them to us in the post which we were extremely grateful for.

Lovely cottage, well furnished, beautifully clean when we arrived, and a great garden (our two dogs loved it).

Loved the cottage and the location - just off the A39 so easy access and not far from Bude but very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was very comfortable as were the beds which was welcome after long days walking the South West Coast Path - very home from home. Two reception rooms so we alternated in the evening just because we could! Lovely kitchen and nice large table to sit around in the evenings. Nice large fridge and freezer too as we brought our own food. Great utility area - very spoilt for room. We had a problem with the front door not unlocking from the inside (not a big issue as 3 other doors to use) and this was sorted out really quickly by the owner and manager. Could not fault the service. We didn't really use the garden due to time of year but would be great in the summer Would certainly highly recommend Eastcott.

Beautifully furnished & presented cottage with plenty of space for 2 families. The garden is large and wonderful for children to play in. A short drive to some lovely beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location, lovely cottage and great for a family stay.

Eastcott cottage was a wonderfully relaxing place to stay, ideally located to find hidden coastal coves. Really comfortable house Loved it !!

very nice cottage for 2 families! lovely beach and pubs nearby, big garden space too.

We had a wonderful stay at Eastcott Cottage. The house was well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for us to spread out and not get under each others feet and we enjoyed playing games and letting the little ones run off steam in the lovely garden. We were lucky and thankfully the weather was fantastic, which makes a massive difference, but whatever the weather there's plenty to do locally, the beaches at Sandymouth Bay and Duckpool are stunning even on cloudy days. We can also recommend Penbode vets in Bude who fitted us in when Stan our greyhound broke a dew claw following an over enthusiastic zoomy. Many thanks fom all of us. Sarah Reed.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know about your stay - it sounds as though you had a wonderful holiday. We're glad that the local vets were able to help when Stan hurt his foot - we hope he's feeling better now and we've popped a little get well present in the post for him. We look forward to welcoming you all back soon. Tanya, Customer Support

We loved our stay at Eastcott Cottage as a family of five. Our boys (and dog!) enjoyed running around the front garden and seeing the cows next door. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We could easily access the lovely Devon and Cornish coastline and the cottage provided an excellent base for our holiday. We were also very impressed with the wifi speed which was required for a few work situations. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d recommend to others!

A very characterful, comfortable house

Charming cottage , and great for our dogs . Opportunities for walking them seemed almost limitless . The house rules regarding them were absolutely clear , fair and reasonable .

We had such a wonderful stay at Eastcott cottage. Perfect for our family of 7, three generations and a dog. We were impressed by how well appointed the house was and appreciated the little extras, there for us to enjoy on arrival! Easy reach of the most beautiful places too. Thank you ??

Very comfortable and attractive setting

Very comfortable with virtually everything we needed.

Having booked rather a lot of holiday rentals over the years, we came away from our recent stay at Eastcott Cottage [early Jan 2020] knowing that this was definitely one of the very best that we had ever stayed in. The cottage is incredibly calm, homely and welcoming with all the extras that you might need. The kitchen is the centre of the house and is really well equipped; whilst providing that sense of a family space that is so essential during a get away with the children.

The sitting rooms are very comfortable and the fire is simply lush - a great place for the grown ups to sip a glass of wine and just stare at the flames whilst the kids all watched films in the next door lounge.

The beds are comfortable, large enough even for our very tall family and the warm bedrooms provided the added excitement of a perfect view of the neighbouring farmer's cows for the youngest members of our group! All in all we would recommend Eastcott Cottage as the perfect family holiday retreat, even in the depths of winter - my only reservation is that it might now be so busy that we won't get a look in!

Many thanks to the team at Eastcott Cottage for their hard work in presenting the house so nicely upon our arrival, and to Classic Cottages for making the booking so easy.

Fantastic cottage. Well equipped, comfortable and great garden for the dogs. Made a welcome refuge from the rain (as did the Bush Inn nearby!)

A lovely cottage with a lot of character. Ideally placed for trips into North Devon as well as Cornwall

Ali the lady who cleans the cottage did text us the day before to say that the cottage was already cleaned and if we wanted to go down earlier then we could which was actually really helpful. Ali also messaged us the day after we arrived to double check everyone was in order and that if we needed anything to contact her.

This was a lovely touch and very reassuring to know that if there was an issue someone was on the doorstep to sort.

Eastcott Cottage is a lovely cottage with beautiful furnishings and exceptionally spacious. The Rayburn was an added bonus.

rural cottage, beside a farm, with a long exceedingly narrow drive, which is tricky to negotiate. Excellent open fire with comfy seating in one area; adjoining sitting room with TV. We found the wifi worked well, as did netflix, our mobiles had reception and the beds were comfy with good quality bed linen. Easy access to Bude and all it's facilities

Great for a family get away, property is exceptionally well maintained and equipt. Location is great, fab hub for exploring - beautiful beaches and walks close by. We all really enjoyed our stay.

A very beautiful and cosy cottage with a lovely garden for the children and dog to enjoy. Spacious kitchen which was a pleasure to cook in. Ideally situated near the coast and had some perfect days on the beach.

Beautiful cottage with plenty of outdoor space that makes it perfect for young children who want to play. Comfortable, cosy sitting room with an open fire. Lovely showers and bathroom and calm and comfortable bedrooms that are stylishly furnished. Easy parking.

Just to sit in the garden at 5am listening to the birds singing and the farm animals at the back of the house was such a peaceful experience with no traffic noise at all. Simply amazing.

We would give it 5 stars if the problems were solved.

We're so sorry that you had some issues with the heating at the beginning of your stay, but pleased that the plumber was able to sort this out. We're not sure where the hairdryer had gone but we've let the owner know. It's great to see that you'd happily return. Tanya, Customer Support

ideally placed for touring North Devon and Cornwall. Lovely cosy cottage with pretty garden. Great Christmas Dinner cooked on the Rayburn Stove!

Lovely cottage, well furnished, check access for car and disabled. Location excellent for exploring North Cornwall and Devon coastline.

Quiet location, not too far to a smashing beach, Sandymouth. Furnishings, showers & kitchen are fabulous as was the TV & we really appreciated the wifi. Everything was warm & cosy & the beds are extremely comfortable. The shops are local as was the chip shop & take away which made catering easy. Plenty of room for the dogs & they slept as well as we did ! Overall it was a really lovely & very comfortable cottage & we would definitely return for another holiday.

Eastcott Cottage is a lovely, warm, restful holiday home. The light and airy, modern kitchen became a real meeting place during our holiday where two families of four could enjoy meals together. The lawn provided space for energetic children and the quiet surrounding area made for a relaxing stay. The local cows, sheep, rabbits and bats provide a lovely feeling of the countryside. Modern showers and two comfortable lounges made the cottage a great base for exploring North Cornwall - overall excellent!
