Been going to the Isle of Wight for many Years. This is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. Loved the location so peaceful and quiet yet everything is on your doorstep. Enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine reading my book listening to the birds. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. Loved the walk down to the beach. Such a well planned holiday home with good quality furnishings,sumptuous beds and wonderful showers. We had everything we needed in a peaceful and private setting and, of course , B.M.L.C. is dog friendly. Oska (whippet) was entertained by the rather foolhardy pea-hen's couple of visits. Mercifully only a small stray feather drifted down from a handy tree when the the latter took refuge ! Lily, (elderly whippet ) looked on approvingly from her basket in the shade of the willow tree!...

The cottage is absolutely the loveliest place we’ve stayed in in a very long time. The amenities are great, the location was spot on for us and the peace and quiet was very much appreciated. We were reluctant to leave after our week on the estate, we’d definitely recommend it...the visiting peacock was an added bonus, he’s very majestic!!...
