Generally clean comfortable accommodation. Nice kitchen/diner with a lovely view of the sea. Some aspects require some checking and TLC. Good location for walking into Ventnor. Parking problematic if more than one car used.

A very light and spacious apartment with a terrace offering lovely sea views. Conveniently situated for the sea front, cafes and restaurants.


Firstly the first positives of this apartment of which there are many - Beautiful views, very well equipped, great location, comfy beds.

The only negative is the damp/musty smell in the bedrooms which have been mentioned by other reviewers.

However the positives far outweigh the negatives and I would be happy to stay at this lovely apartment again.

On the negative side: The twin room smells of damp; the company does not provide a courtesy clean on a two week stay (substandard); and there is not network signal. On the positive side: the kitchen is lovely and really well equipped; there is a lovely view from the main living room and the flat is in a good location.

We're so sorry to hear that you were unhappy that a full changeover clean is not included as part of a two-week booking. We do supply a change of linen and towels as standard for a second week, but having guest belongings in a property would make it very difficult to carry out a mid-stay clean, and it wouldn't always be possible to coordinate with a large number of guests to find a convenient time. This apartment has wonderful views and the living area was excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms need updating. The master bedroom was dark and small. The bed was extremely low and would not suit everyone. Ventnor is very steep, built on the side of a hill. Not easy to negotiate especially if you have mobility problems.


A perfect place to relax. Quiet, though close to downtown Ventnor. Stunning seaviews.


Had a really good week’s break, nice spacious apartment with excellent view. Ventnor offers good restaurants, supermarkets and challenging walks along the coast.


As two guests in their eighties, who have to pace themselves, to spend time relaxing in this beautifully appointed apartment was a real pleasure. We fell in love with the garden at Osborne House, discovered the little beach at St. Helen's and highly recommend The Taverners food at Godshill.

Great location a short stroll from the center of Ventnor and the beach. The views are fabulous and watching the ships go by is a treat. Comfortable and spacious for a family of 4.


Light, bright and airy with lovely views. Easy walking distance to town. This is a ground floor flat and noise from the upper floor can be heard when occupied. Some may find the noise intrusive .

We had a happy visit to Ventnor and the Isle. We are missing the sea view in this comfortable and spacious appartment.


We spent a week at the apartment and loved the location. The view from the sitting room windows are superb. Ventnor is a an interesting town with at least 4 excellent restaurants and the paddling pool for youngsters is very unique and striking. There's lots to see in the area, and after exploring all the seaside towns, my husband and I came to the conclusion that staying on the south side of the island is far better than the north because of the sea views. We liked looking across to France across an expanse of ocean that contained no cargo ships or views of the mainland. All in all a very relaxing holiday, thank you.


Easy, well layed out apartment with wonderful views regardless of the weather! Apartment works very for a family with two young children (dont need to deal with stairs but consider walk from apartment to back of property for car parking). The open plan kitchen / living room area along with the fully and well equipped kitchen was nicely laid out with lots of space.

Lovely light, spacious apartment with fantastic views and the benefit of dedicated parking. It’s five minutes to the coast path and the centre of Ventnor is about a ten minute walk away. We would book again


Lovely big Appartment with great views in Bonchurch, about 15 mins walk into Ventnor. Try the Seapot cafe which is only 5 mins walk if you take the shortcut at the bottom of kings bay road.


We had a wonderful stay at St Joseph’s, the views are incredible! The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!

This is a lovely apartment - bright and spacious with wonderful views from the front terrace; it's in a very peaceful area on a quiet road just a short walk from the centre of Ventnor. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

A spacious, light-filled property on a hill just outside Ventnor with a view of the sea and the boats sailing by. Comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. It's a hilly walk back from Ventnor so not for people who would struggle with that but great for those who want to walk the coastal path or just work up an appetite for their fish and chips. Highly recommend.

Great. Very comfortable with excellent views. An invigorating walk of 15-20 minutes to or from Ventnor seafront by several different routes.


2 St Joseph’s is a wonderful apartment. Comfortable, exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the veranda soaking up the sunshine and the Seaview. Parking bay at the rear was fine. Recommend The Seapot at Wheelers Bay excellent for lunch (especially when we found the short cut.) Ventnor is very hilly and walks down to the esplanade could be challenging - a few tips on best pathways etc would be helpful.


It’s a really lovely apartment, as modern and up-together as you could possibly imagine, it couldn’t be better really. The views are stunning and the photos don’t do it justice, they have to be seen to be believed


This is a fantastic apartment with a great open plan living room and stunning views out across to the sea. The location, just on the outskirts of Ventnor is perfect and within 10 minutes you can be at the waterfront, enjoying a morning coffee or just a stroll along the beach. A private parking space to the rear of the property means that you don’t have to worry about finding a space to park. The bedrooms are a little darker than the living rooms to the front of the property (and the twin room, which is overlooked from the entranceway) would benefit from blinds, but we loved it so much we have already booked our return stay. Highly recommended if you are visiting the island.

An amazing apartment, with superb sea views – far better than any photographs can do it justice. The apartment was as up-to-date and immaculate as you could possibly ask for with among other things, a built-in microwave and cold water dispenser built into the side of the fridge!


This was an excellent light, bright , well decorated and well equipped apartment, within easy walking distance of Ventnor center which gave easy access to local amenities and lovely coastal walks.


We were very happy with the apartment. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen had all the equipment needed. The beds were very comfortable. The car park space was large and it was easy to park - and last but not least, there was a great sea view.

We loved Ventnor. There was plenty to enjoy without having to drive anywhere and we plan to return to the same apartment in 2020.

The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped to a high standard. It is very well located and has beautiful views that one could just gaze at all day. It's exceptionally quiet and quite idyllic. Wander along the esplanade to the Spy Glass Inn for a coffee, hot chocolate or food and just sit and gaze out to sea. I would love to return to St Joseph's some day, it really was home from home.

A spacious apartment with lovely contemporary furnishings. Everything is of a high standard and, most importantly, the beds are excellent (good, deep mattresses) & extremely comfortable. The private terrace at the front is high enough not to be overlooked. We found we could park our second car in the road outside easily every day of our visit (no charge.) Direct sea views from the terrace & main living room/kitchen & easy walking distance of the beach, cafes & shops. Highly recommended. We loved the Spyglass Inn & also the local ice cream shop "The Ventnorian" (absolutely delicious homemade ice cream in a huge variety of flavours & generous portions!)
