A public bridleway near to the cottages, so its easy to find a walk close to home.
Take a wonderful scenic walk down to St Catherine's lighthouse.
The red sandy beach at Ventnor, go for a swim or relax and watch the waves.
Steephill Cove is a pretty little private bay with seasonal restaurants, cafes and a beach shop.

Very clean and well equipped on excellent walking routes. Dog friendly and a very quiet location within easy walking distance of Godshill pubs and restaurants including a very good Vegan.

What a lovely place to stay, if your after peace and tranquility then Grafton Cottage is your place. You will need a car as it's a drive to amenities. There are lovely walks but I wouldn't recommend the road as it's a bit narrow for walkers and cars. Good place to take the dog as they have lovely grounds to run in a safe place. Good place to visit all the place IOW has to offer. Definitely going to revisit here it's lovely ...

Grafton Cottage is a lovely property in a glorious location, perfectly situated with easy access to local pubs and Godshill village, as well as nearby beaches. The area is rural and incredibly peaceful; we slept well each night. The host was welcoming and friendly and answered any queries we had immediately. Rooms are small but cosy and comfortable. The property is fitted with all mod- cons, as well as extra touches such as books for children and a great DVD collection, which was greatly appreciated. ...
