A short drive from the coast and surrounded by beautiful countryside, Grafton Cottage offers an ideal base in the middle of the The Isle of Wight from which to explore north to south, and east to west.

Enter into the ground floor open plan living room, a great space for relaxing, cooking and dining with friends and family. Comfy sofas to sink into after a day out exploring and a DVD library with something for everyone, so if you've chosen to stay in today, select a movie and get the popcorn!

Head upstairs to find two bedrooms, the first a king size double and the second room with single beds, the bedrooms share the shower room which is also on this floor. Sitting within the grounds of the main house, guests have use of the shared grounds to explore and close by a small patio-areato the front, a sunny spot in the summer months. So those bringing their four-legged family members have plenty of room to roam. There really is a feeling of peace and seclusion at this lovely location, being surrounded by woodland, fields and a pond is rather special.

There is private parking for one car, plus a lockable bike shed for guests' use, so dont forget to bring your bicycles, its a great way to get around the island. Two well behaved dogs are welcomed at the property.

The village of Godshill is within walking distance or only a short drive away; here you'll find the miniature village, a selection of pubs and an abundance of tea rooms and gift shops, on the Island the village is also known as 'the home of the cream tea' as there are many tea gardens serving delicious cakes and treats.

There is a choice of two pubs for a drink or bite to eat, the Taverners is renowned for using local produce and creating mouthwatering dishes and the Griffin is a popular family friendly pub with a childrens play area. Just when you thoughth two pubs was enough, the Chequers Inn is also close by, great roast dinners on a Sunday and both indoor and outdoor play areas for the younger ones, you will be spoilt for choice.
