Exceptional luxury feel property, with highly reliable and strong WiFi, direct access to the beach which is life guarded until (I think) 5 September. Sandy beach. On the south west coast path. Two pubs, bakery, deli and small mini mart in the village, fishmonger about 5 minutes away. Lots of farm shops locally, but Trevaskis, while lovely, is very expensive. Easy to access nearby National Trust and English Heritage gardens and castles plus St Ives, St Mawes (ferry required), Falmouth and Truro. Parking can be a serious problem so advise getting moving early to find a spot in popular destinations. Worth having memberships to both NT and EH as tickets are expensive. If you book the day before with EH, tickets are 15% discounted. ...

Stunning setting. Lovely views from sitting room/kitchen, terrace and two of the bedrooms. Very attractively appointed. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a real joy. Am totally recharged!

Amazing place to stay, beautiful house and exceptional location. Third time staying there and just as good as the first. The house was really clean and everything you need is there. Parking is good for two cars. Plenty to do in the area and right on the coastal path. The town over the years has improved with more places to eat and have drink. Highly recommended. ...

Rock is an amazing property! It has great fixtures and fittings, high-end kitchen and bathroom appliances. The highlight is the views over Portreath beach and a lovely balcony to sit, relax and enjoy the views. Rock is ideally situated to enjoy coastal walks and many parts of Cornwall. There’s a couple of lovely local pubs serving delicious food just a few minutes walk from Rock. Also a convenience store, bakery, cafe Chinese take away and fish and chip shop with a bar! If the weather is good there is no reason to leave Portreath. Would love to go back very soon. ...
