We had a lovely week away at Rock, the house is spacious and comfortable with wonderful views of the sea and crashing waves from the windows. It is situated directly on the coast path with wonderful walks in either direction, also not far from all areas of Cornwall. We visited Newquay, Porthleven, Penzance, Truro and Caerhays Castle during our stay. We made use of the buses to do linear coastal walks. Recommendations for food- Seaspray for brunch in Newquay over looking Fistral beach, The Mussel Shoals for mussels on Porthleven harbour and De Bara bakery for amazing almond croissants. Rock is an ideal place to stay whatever the weather!...

We understand from speaking with you since, seeing the clear cylinder in the hoover that hangs on the wall unemptied, was a little off-putting, as well as the washing machine/tumble drier cupboard, which could have been a little cleaner. We have passed this on to the owner, so they can pass this on to their housekeeper for future consideration. We are so pleased that you otherwise enjoyed everything on offer there. A very lovely holiday house with an amazing view from the enormous windows down onto Portreath beach. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Housekeeper and owner were very responsive when there was an issue with the heating and provided additional logs and fan heaters to ensure we were kept warm until the engineer arrived. A good base for visiting St Ives (approx 30 mins) and north to Port Isaac (approx one hour) and Padstow (approx 45 mins). Walking from the door in both directions is always good!...
