A very lovely holiday house with an amazing view from the enormous windows down onto Portreath beach. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Housekeeper and owner were very responsive when there was an issue with the heating and provided additional logs and fan heaters to ensure we were kept warm until the engineer arrived. A good base for visiting St Ives (approx 30 mins) and north to Port Isaac (approx one hour) and Padstow (approx 45 mins). Walking from the door in both directions is always good!...

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing family (2 boys aged 11 and 7) holiday at The Rock for a week over Easter. We would highly recommend this property. Steph, the property owner, is very easy to communicate with. Unlike other properties we’ve stayed in where these items are frustratingly very limited to just enough for day 1, The Rock had the essentials, e.g. dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, washing powder etc. all in plentiful supply. There was also a very detailed, helpful information booklet provided by the owners. We only wished we could afford to stay in this property during the summer! ...

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, if not even better in person. The place itself is thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is simply breathtaking, peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect base to explore the area.
