The Linney is in a fabulous location on the North Devon coast with great views to Wales and at a good point to explore the south west coast path. However, the proximity of the campsite would make privacy an issue especially in the summer months, as it is well within view of the cottage and not really out of site as the marketing suggests. The cottage is well appointed throughout but is open to the rafters and a haven for spiders so arachnophobes be warned! We were aware that wi-fi would be an issue but were not prepared for the TV reception to be so affected. We assume that broadband is shared with the farmhouse and campsite so only the main terrestrial channels are available and then, not always. If you are after an off grid experience, then this will suit you perfectly, but most people like to watch TV at some point on holiday especially when the weather is poor....

We had such an amazing time at this lovely cottage waking up and winding down with the sea in front of you every day. Clean, comfortable, cozy with a great location and easy access to many hikes, villages, and tourist destinations. Loved the hike in and hike out from the cottage to the SouthWest Coastal Path.
