We had a very enjoyable stay in this converted barn in a quiet location with a lovely large enclosed garden, part high wall and part fencing approx 4ft high (it was OK for our elderly dogs but wouldn't be suitable for some dogs). It was well equipped to a high standard. It was particularly nice to be there in a heat wave as we found it cooler than our own house, being able to leave the patio doors open and the larger patio being in partial shade for a lot of the day. There was a smaller patio at the other end of the garden, which was also a lovely spot to sit and dine/enjoy a drink. We had a lovely week to recharge but it's also well located for visiting other attractions...

Lovely cottage for a holiday with dogs. Rare to get a garden so big and lovely, Access is via a narrow lane. But I had an estate which didn’t struggle, Owners on hand but don’t bother you, I would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orchard Barn and would definitely stay here again. The barn was clean and comfortable and the large garden was amazing for our dog and a great place to sit out with some shady areas in the recent extreme heat. We met our lovely host Emily and really appreciated the welcome tray on our arrival. The cottage is very well located to access all routes for days out very easily and wonderfully peaceful on your return....

Lovely little disabled friendly cottage in the quiet countryside with large garden and excellent facilities. Emily is very welcoming and quick to respond to queries or problems. The little welcoming touches like a pint of milk, some tea, coffee and cake mean you can relax as soon as you get there. Have only stayed during the winter months so far and the cottage is lovely and warm. Looking forward to staying there in the spring so we can enjoy the garden. Ideal location for exploring Somerset without having to be based in a town. Local shops and pubs are close by. Will definitely be staying there again ??...

A warm and comfortable cottage in a lovely peaceful setting. Within a short car journey of lots of interesting places to visit, the Quantock Hills and the coast. Highly recommended.
