We had a fabulous week in perfectly equipped Bashford Lodge. The views are beautiful, the landscape of the quantock Hills is wonderful and you have lots of places to explore nearby. It is highly recommendable to go on a horse ride with the very friendly owners....

A lovely, comfortable and well equipped lodge in a perfect setting. Three generations of our family and we all spent a very enjoyable week here. Plenty to see and do even if you don't horse ride, although two of our party did and had a wonderful time. Very helpful and friendly owners who left a lovely home-made cake and a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge for us. Fabulous views from the balcony and it was lovely to see the horses parading down from the fields first thing in the morning to the stables. We hope to make a return visit! ...

Lovely relaxing stay with wonderful views and the horses coming in and out an added bonus. We were due to arrive the day following heavy snow fall but good communication with Gill and lots of effort on her part clearing the drive and yard, allowed us to push forward a couple of days and still enjoy our break....

Lovely comfortable beds and great outside areas. Great views from the balcony and lots of walks nearby. Although we did not go for the trekking it was quite a sight to watch the horses being brought down from their field to their stables each morning....
