Each of the 3 bedrooms are presented to the highest standard, all with beautiful bed linens.
All the bedrooms have super-king sized 6ft beds that can be made up as 3ft twins on request.

There are three wet-rooms to choose from, all beautifully designed. Two are on the first floor along with the bedrooms.
The water pressure is excellent here so that you can really enjoy a invigorating shower.

The third wet-room is on the ground floor.
This is the drying/laundry-room - with a separate outside entrance from the patio. Ideal for wet clothes and boots after a long walk in the Quantocks or of course, a wonderful horseback adventure.

Dunster Castle towers above this unique medieval town, a stone's throw from the coast.
You can see right across the Bristol Channel to south Wales from the top of the Quantock Hills.

We had a really warm welcome from Gill and the homemade carrot cake she made for us was gorgeous.Bashford Lodge is in a lovely quiet village and a short walk to the local pub the Rising Sun which made us very welcome and served delicious food.There are lovely local walks and places of interest within a few miles.Try the steam train,Glastonbury,and Dunster Castle.You wont be disappointed.The views from Bashford Hall are spectacular. We were blessed with lovely weather for our stay and sat out on the verandaI every evening.I would highly recommend this property....

One of the cleanest self catering properties we have stayed in... Beds were amazing , good quality bedding, location superb, views gorgeous. Gill the owner was there if you needed her but not intrusive at all. The lodge had everything and more you could want No hesitation in recommending . Horses in the field lovely to watch, we heard owls at night ?? Lovely local pub Rising sun within walking distance handy for when you don't feel like cooking, the Lethbridge Thai restaurant is a "must visit" superb food . Farmers arms best fish and chips meal ever bit pricey but good food ....

A very well appointed cottage with the most amazing views . Unusually it has 3 excellent double bedrooms with 3 wet rooms .The whole property is very well equipped and works well Parking for 3 cars . An excellent pub 2 minutes walk away plus other good dining venues within 10 minutes drive . A great location to explore the Quantocks and the north somerset cost . There are also a number of excellent walks directly from the property . The owners who live next door are delightful , very helpful , not intrusive and Gills welcome cake was epic ! I can highly recommend this property ...

Our stay at Bashford Lodge was perfect inspite of mixed weather it was the loveliest place to be. The Lodge was beautifully designed and the views and countryside spectacular. It was a pleasure to enjoy the horses... deer ... hares and pheasants in the fields behind the property. Would love to return....

Wow - what a super property. We had a wonderful reception from Gill who was so helpful. Warm, comfortable, very well equipped , great location for walking and sightseeing around the area and not least so close to The Rising Sun . Can’t recommend Bashford Lodge too highly.
