Smugglers Cottage is at the head of a beautiful valley above the coastal village of Branscombe. There is a fully enclosed parking and garden-area behind the cottage.
The working part of the kitchen is just around the corner on the other side of the door to the terrace.

The views from this room stretch all the way down the valley in the direction of the village. It is a lovely walk as the little lane is so quiet.

This little tram runs between the historc village of Colyton and the Jurassic coast at Seaton, following the Axe estuary through two nature reserves.

Such a lovely, homely cottage in an idyllic, peaceful location. Had a great few days staying there and would definitely book it again. It was lovely to arrive to a warm, welcoming cottage, with Christmas decorations twinkling away. The bottle of local gin, cakes and milk were very much appreciated too It was very comfortable overall and excellently equipped. The owners and housekeeper were very friendly and helpful. The village of Branscombe and the beach are delightful and there are plenty of lovely walks. Beer, also well worth a visit, is not far away. A little further afield is Lyme Regis, Sidmouth amd the Donkey Sanctuary (free to visit and very well organised), so there is plenty to keep you occupied....

The cottage was a delight to stay in. It's attractively decorated, spacious and very comfortable with a pretty terrace for sitting or eating outside with stunning views over the verdant valley below. The sunsets and star watching were spectacular from here. The house is in a perfect location on the edge of the village with great walks to the beach, the village store/tea shop and the pub. Ross was a great host - very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We would definitely visit again. ...
