Have stayed in this house many times, and always enjoyed it. The village has all amenities and is very friendly. Have booked again for next year.

We have just returned from our 5 stay in Waterside and have booked again for next year. The superb location and standard of equipment and furnishing make it a very special place.

This was our second visit to Waterside . A beautiful location , comfortable bed . So peaceful, such a relaxing place to sit and watch/ hear the sea. Not many parking places in the village , although there is a car park a few minutes walk away , so it’s an added bonus that Waterside has its own parking right outside .

Fantastic location with great views out to sea. Lovely comfortable, warm and clean place to stay, cosy and very well equipped.

A lovely well equipped house on Portscatho beach within easy walking distance of all amenities. Lovely views from all the windows and the terrace. A bonus was a parking spot right outside the house as parking in Portscatho is very limited.

Always lovely visiting Roseland. Our first visit here at Waterside and had a 2 week stay. A warm welcome by phone by the owner was very thoughtful. A calming time listening to the sea, wonderful sunsets and sunrises from the armchairs. A perfectly positioned property. Well equipped kitchen. Spare pillows etc.

Being disabled it would’ve been so helpful if a grab rail was installed in the bath. Hopefully that could be done. The owner said he would be repairing the shower which was good. Parking space welcomed. Had a Ford Kuga that just fitted. Fortunate to have had such lovely weather.

Waterside is a very comfortable well- equipped house in a stunning location. We have booked again for next year. ( Please don't publish my full name- initials only please)

I can verify that just about everything claimed for the property was spot on. Practice your reversing skills if you come to Cornwall anyway, but they may help you in getting in and out of the parking spot! I had no problems but sometimes access can be restricted by other residents parking less than carefully. Highly recommended.

Have stayed here many times before, and it never disappoints! Fantastic position, with all amenities nearby.

Waterside has breathtaking views of the sea, about 10 feet from the living room french doors, amazing views of the sea and wildlife! We saw seals from the house three times, in our weeks stay. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good power shower too, with outdoor shower as well for cleaning up after swimming in the sea. Tatams coffee take away is good, just a couple of doors down, as well as their online ordering of stonebaked pizza and weekly specials. I recommend the lamb caponata pizza. The Hidden Hut on Porthcurnick beach is a short walk away on the coastal path. Good coffee and excellent cake, also feast nights on the beach during the summer. There’s also the Plume of Feathers pub, a well stocked convenience shop (previously Ralph’s), the butchers A.R. Day and a couple of galleries too.

Fabulous position close to the sea, with living room and both bedrooms facing the sea.

Great cottage with stunning sea views. Set on 3 levels so may not be suitable for someone with mobility problems. Well equipped kitchen including dish washer, washer/ dryer and large fridge / freezer . Lovely outside area with seating overlooking sea. Private parking.

Would love to stay at Waterside again.

A comfortable, well-equipped house in a stunning location

Beautiful location , very peaceful. Everything was excellent quality , precise details for operating the TV were very helpful . Wish we could have stayed longer .

Perfect winter break . Stunning views and to watch dolphins from the windows was a dream come true. Will definitely be booking again

Fantastic location. Conveniently located for everything you need. We had a lovely week

This was our second year at Waterside. It is an outstanding property in a beautiful part of Cornwall. We have already booked again for next year. The bay is very sheltered so it was a pleasure to be able to walk striaght from the property for 2 minutes to swim and then straight back to shower and recover on the beautiful terrace. The staff at Classic were a pleasure to deal with through the uncertainties of the lockdown. We were very lucky to be able to travel to Cornwall on the first weekend of the relaxing of the restrictions. The team responded very quickly to all our queries.

Everything about this cottage was perfect. The location is excellent giving you views that you could spend all day looking over. The cottage is warm, welcoming & equipped with everything you need and more. We spent a wonderful week there over the Christmas period. We can’t wait to visit again.

A well equipped and beautifully furnished property with outstanding views. We can't wait to return!

Looking forward to our next stay.

Fantastic location

Outstanding location and outlook, good (essential!) parking, helpful friendly owner, very well equipped kitchen, excellent local shop and butchers, weekly fresh fish van, high tide under the terrace, beautiful safe swimming virtually from the house, ditto the South Cornwall Coastal path.

One of the best positions/views in Cornwall. To have two car parking spaces as well is fantastic, and so unusual.

We'd have to agree, the view does take some beating - maybe come back in the winter for some fabulous storm watching...? Tanya, Customer Support

A beautifully appointed property with stupendous sea views.

Plenty to do around the cottage or just relax and watch the sea. The Hidden Hut is a very short walk away. Stunning walks. Just a shame about television reception.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review Waterside - we were pleased to see that you enjoyed the location. We're sorry that you had some problems with the TV reception, unfortunately it can be affected at times by high pressure in coastal areas. Alison, Customer Support

Update Jan 2019 To address the occasional variation in TV signal due to atmospheric conditions, the owner has now installed BT TV. Guests can record, rewind and pause live TV as well as access 'catch up TV' and downloads.

The perfect beach holiday spot - difficult to beat but expensive for us. Add sun loungers for perfection

Love the position - have been staying since 1997 until 2010 each year, then my Mother became too frail to come so let it go. Delighted to have got it again last year and hope we will have many more happy stays there.

This is a fabulous cottage in a great location. To wake up with the views over the sea from both bedrooms is a joy, even on a grey day. Very well equipped and great value for money.

We arrived on a dreary wet afternoon to find that the heating had been turned on and the property was warm.

It had been cleaned and prepared to an exceptionally high standard and provided a very welcoming ambiance.

The gift of tea, milk & biscuits was much appreciated, as was the full set of fresh laundry for our second week , not always provided in properties we have rented.

A relaxing and comfortable cottage in a superb location directly overlooking Gerrans Bay. The sound of the sea lapping against the wall of the deck as the sun rises across the water - it's to die for.

The position of this property could not be bettered. We have stayed twice and will probably do so again.

The owners of next door have been there when we have stayed, and they are most friendly.

The location ( I paint ) is so good we didn't move the car all week !

A very romantic stay in this cosy house - we will defintely want to come back.

A wonderful cottage in a prime location with magnificent views. In Portscatho there was a butcher, a shop with an extensive range of provisions,an excellent local pub and a fish van on Wednesday. What more could one want?

I think you've said it all !

Great location for walking, for views and for nearby pub!

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed in this cottage, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines.
