Brilliant location in a perfect place, with great facilities in shop, ice cream parlour, great pub and coffee shop. The Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick and the Standard pub up the road in Gerrans are great for foodies. We loved staying here. The cottage was well equipped, clean and homely. The stairs were quite steep but there was a handrail and 2 hand holds at the top. Being right in the heart of the village and having a designated car parking space outside the cottage was a bonus. There is a restaurant and a pub across the road and also a shop that sells practically everything The beach and harbour are less than a minute away as is access to the Coast Path...

We stayed at Opal Cottage for a week in September. It's a lovely cottage with plenty of room and had everything we needed for our stay. It has a comfortable sitting room with a dining room at one end. There was a cupboard with lots of books and games which was nice. The bathroom has a shower cubicle ( a bit on the small side and needs a shelf to put toiletries on) the roll top bath was wonderful. The toilet was in a separate room. The kitchen was well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. The location was perfect, yards away from the pub, shop and beach. Thank you for a lovely stay ...
