We enjoyed a great week at this lovely house. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is absolutely perfect, being close to the coastal path and great beaches. Great places to eat, in particular the Standard and Plume of Feathers. Will definitely be back!
Mrs Lobo August 2023
We had a lovely stay. We’ve been to Portscatho a few times before and this house is in an excellent location. Really bright house with a lovely outdoor area.
Mrs Ambrose July 2023
An Morah is a very good holiday house. It has absolutely everything necessary to make one’s stay fabulous. Great location and very spacious. Even better than the photos. Would definitely stay there again.

This a lovely house in a beautiful village with stunning views over the sea - would strongly recommend!
Mrs Ward October 2022
Fantastic location and a good size property.
Mrs Haslam September 2022
An Morah - the location is excellent, very well located for shop and pubs and also lovely coastal walks. Portscatho is a lovely place to stay. The house is good, but there are some issues that need to be sorted, overflowing gutter at the back, main shower door, kitchen cupboards not shutting properly. A good deep clean is also needed, the property is looking tired and needs some TLC. However, these issues did not stop us having a comfortable enjoyable stay and we would consider going back.

Thank you for your lovely review. We're pleased that you enjoyed the fabulous setting and made the most of the stunning local walks. Thanks for letting us know about a few maintenance issues - we would've loved to resolve these during your stay had we known. We're pleased to report that the owners have some refurbishment planned during the winter season. It's wonderful that these concerns didn't detract from your stay too much and we're looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Julie, Customer Support

Loved the location, great to walk to the pub, shops, and beaches. Amazing coffee shops and places to eat as well.
House is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need. The garden is perfect for a dog and a little sun trap in the mornings.
Amazing sea views everytime you wake up. A perfect holiday
Mrs Bellamy June 2021
Spacious accommodation, comfy beds. Lovely sea views from decked area and close to all amenities in the village. SMART television would have been nice especially if visiting in winter months.
Mr Milne April 2021
A very lovely, warm & welcoming property in a great location. We've stayed in lots of holiday cottages across the UK over the years, but two of the best have been in Portscatho - An Morah is one of them. Would definitely stay here again.
Ms Mason September 2020
A lovely house with all you could ask for, from a holiday home.
Ms Roberts September 2020
Fantastic house in great location. Lovely holiday ??
Miss Bastin October 2019
Just a couple of minor things:- a small hand towel would have been useful in the downstairs cloakroom. It was not a great problem as we had spare towels in the bedrooms so used them. Also, a glass/mug for toothbrush and toothpaste would be good in the bathrooms.

Perfect accommodation for a week break in Portscatho . The property ticks all the boxes - and there no better way to start the day than watching the sunrise over the bay from the garden decking whilst enjoying your breakfast .

Ms Sutton June 2016
This property truly exceeded our expectations. We have previously stayed in another of Roseland Holiday Cottages excellent properties and was apprenhensive about renting a 'pet friendly' house - absolutely no need to worry. The cleanliness of the property was first class, no evidence of previous pets. The house is beautifully appointed with all the conveniences needed for a comfortable, home from home stay and spacious too. The views from the rear of the house are stunning! Can't wait to return next year...
Mr Trillwood May 2016
Great situation for beach and village. Views wonderful.
Mr Darling May 2016
A good base to explore Roseland. Comfortable & situated in an excellent location.
Mrs Denyer April 2016
I would not recommend this place in its current state!

We were so sorry that you had problems with the fridge during your stay; as we discussed, it's always disappointing when appliances fail without warning and cannot be repaired, but we're glad that the housekeeping team were able to supply a temporary replacement fridge and that we were able to reach an agreeable conclusion. The new fridge has been delivered this week. Tanya, Customer Support
Ms Crossley March 2016
